Hollowman, Born Drake Carter in the Erie avenue section of Philadelphia. The oldest of three siblings (two brothers one sister) and a father of 4 (two girls two boys) started out rapping in 1999 at the age of 17 on the dangerous street corners of north Philadelphia. Motivated by his environment he started battling other artists in order to earn a name in the rap world and by the age of 19 he became one of Erie Avenue’s Finest. In 2002 he battled BAD BOY’s recording artist ENess in what became one of the most influential and Legendary battles ever to happen in Philadelphia History and by 2003 that would have been seen all over the country with over 500k views on YouTube and $358,000 in DVD sales and became the spark in the DVD game. With records done with everyone in the Philadelphia HipHop Game from Gillie Da Kid, Ar-ab and Quilly Mills to Meek Mills,  Freeway and Beanie Sigal his own influences started with Biggie Smalls, JayZ, Jadakiss and NAS …his favorite Quote: “In order to be Great you have to study Greatness”. In 2011 Club Status he ran into one of his influences (Jadakiss) only to find out that he was also a fan of his, although HipHop was discouraging at a point in his career that was all the motivation he needed to continue on despite losing a list of friends to the streets and Jail He later on dropped 2 Mixtapes: Mr Talk Heavy 1-2 to add on to his category: Popular Demand, Crazies and Teen Wolf.
